Our invisible braces are developed by a leading global manufacturer with 10 years of R&D experience to bring you comfortable, yet premium invisible braces sent directly to your doorstep. Your progress is also supervised by orthodontists remotely so you don’t even have to meet them.

This direct to consumer model helps us save on expenses such as operational costs for clinics and also cuts out the middlemen selling you the invisible braces. With all these saved expenses, we pass on the savings to you – so teeth straightening is now even more affordable!

You’ll (sorta) see into the future

Wonder what your teeth will look like when you’re done with your treatment? Don’t have to wonder further – we’ll show you!

When you send us an impression of your smile, our orthodontists at the labs will review the impressions and create a 3D model of your current smile and your new smile – so you can see what it’ll look like before you start your treatment. With this, you only commit to paying for your invisible braces if you’re satisfied with the smile preview. That’s why we’re really 100% commitment-free!

Meeting your invisible braces

You’ll basically wear your invisible braces every moment of every day and night for a minimum of 22 hours. The only time they’ll be taken is out is when you have meals and drinks. That’s how often you have to wear them – but don’t worry, you’ll get used to it!

Your invisible braces are transparent and clear – so no one can see them. They work silently to help you get your dream smile.

Although it’s important to take note that whenever you’re not wearing your invisible braces, you’re letting your teeth shift back to their old position. Wear your invisible braces as instructed for the best results.

Rinse and repeat

Remember when we mentioned that you have to take your invisible braces out before you start eating and drinking? But, when you slide them back in – you’ll need to rinse them to keep them clean and transparent.

This will be part of a routine for you during your treatment. It seems like a hassle but it’s very important that you do not skip this step.

You’ll be watching the calendar

You will have to change your invisible braces pair every two weeks as you won’t be wearing the same pair throughout your entire treatment.

Remember to keep track on the calendar as changing out your invisible braces at the right time is important to ensure that the treatment progresses smoothly and you get the best results.

Pain is part of the process

While you are wearing your invisible braces, you may experience some discomfort and pain. It is totally normal.

This is because the aligners move your teeth and your teeth don’t like being shifted around. But the pain is good. It means that your aligner treatment is working – after all the common saying is no pain, no gain.

However, if the pain continues to worsen – please reach out to our smile consultants and they’ll be happy to help.

Meeting your after-treatment BFF – Retainers

Once you’ve completed all your invisible braces sets, you will be given a pair of retainers to wear. We know it’s tedious having to wear another contraption in your mouth even after you’re done with your become treatment but this is crucial!

Without reminding your teeth to stay put, they’ll shift back to their old position, thus changing your smile back to the old one.

For the first 6 months after your aligner treatment, you’ll be wearing your retainers all the time. After that, you will only need to wear your retainers at night.

Ready to get started?

We’ve explained it all and now it’s your turn to start your smile journey! Take our smile assessment to find out how to get this whole thing moving. You don’t need to make an appointment or see a dentist.

Why we’re making dream smiles even more affordable

A great smile is priceless. But let’s be honest – people are hesitant to spend on teeth straightening just from the price alone. On average, invisible braces prescribed at the orthodontist cost USD3,500. We think that price is too high and you probably agree too. Our invisible braces were priced at USD1,640 when we first initially started become and we have received numerous feedback from our customers on wanting a straighter smile with a friendlier price tag.

So we’ve listened and decided to make teeth straightening even more affordable with premium quality invisible braces for only USD1,360 – so now everyone can get the smile of their dreams.

How do we make it so affordable? We’re glad you asked.

‍Teledentistry and the latest technologies have made it possible for us to deliver the same quality of care you would receive in clinics without the extra costs and hassle of in-person clinic visits.

We work with a leading global manufacturer of invisible braces with 10 years of R&D experience to bring you comfortable, yet premium clear aligners sent directly to your doorstep.

By doing this, we cut out all the gimmicks and the costs of operating a clinic, in addition to eliminating the middlemen selling you the aligners with a direct to consumer model. From all these cost savings, we pass them onto you so you can get straighter teeth with a smile-worthy price.

In addition, we want to make it easy for you to pay.

Our competitors generally only have a one-time payment option where you will have to pay the full price all at once for your treatment. However at become, we know that it might take a toll on your personal finances. So we’ve decided to be flexible and prepared an additional payment method for you.

Don’t want to pay upfront? No worries! We have easy instalment plans for our invisible braces ranging from lengths from 3 – 9 months. With this way, anyone can get the smile of their dreams without burning a hole in their pockets.

With all these savings and benefits, how can you possibly resist?

Talking about money is pretty boring. How much is a great smile worth to you? What about confidence? Only you know what they are worth to you!

Your guide to teeth straightening options

Teeth straightening is a big step for most and there are plenty of options to choose from. Searching for teeth straightening options online results in an overwhelming number of choices, ranging from traditional metal braces, to ceramic or clear braces, to newer invisible braces that are prescribed at the orthodontic clinic or can be purchased online as a teeth straightening kit and shipped to your house.

But when it comes down to it, your options come in just two main types: conventional fixed appliances such as metal or ceramic braces, or removable invisible braces.

Traditional braces

The upside: Can treat most orthodontic issues, is easily accessible and affordable

The downside: They are a fixed appliance; which means they cannot be removed until after the treatment is complete, can irritate gums and cheeks, extra oral care is needed to prevent cavities and other oral problems.

Treatment time: 6 months to 2 years

Cost: Between 3,500 SGD to 4,200 SGD

Traditional braces work by using pressure to move your teeth into a desired position. There’s a reason they are commonly used: they work for everything from fixing teeth that are crooked, crowded or spaced out to correcting an overbite or underbite. But braces aren’t all metal mouth and elastic bands anymore as what they were back then. There are now a number of braces options available in the market such as:

Metal braces. These are the traditional and most common braces — they consist of metal brackets with wires held by elastic ties.

Damon/Self-litigating braces. Like traditional metal braces, but they use a sliding device to hold the wire instead of elastic ties. They usually have a ceramic bracket option that are less visibly obvious compared to metal braces

It is important to note that there are certain cases that can be best treated with traditional braces, and there are some cases that are actually treated best with invisible braces treatment.

Invisible braces

The upside:  For mild to moderate cases, invisible braces can be more affordable than traditional braces, less noticeable than traditional braces, removable – thus allowing eating, drinking and maintaining oral hygiene easier

The downside: Must be worn for a proper amount of time each day throughout treatment to be effective at straightening teeth, may cost significantly more than traditional braces, as they are removable – may be easily misplaced

Treatment time: Varies by person; 6 months to 2 years

Cost: Between 2,999 SGD to 11,000 SGD

Invisalign introduced invisible braces to the market in 1997 and since then, over two dozen companies have followed. Invisible braces are plastic trays that are custom-made to be fitted to your teeth after an orthodontist either takes a mold of your teeth or conducts a 3D scan of your mouth. Each pair of invisible braces put pressure on your teeth, gradually moving them into their desired position. Invisible braces are removable when eating, drinking or brushing teeth but they will need to be worn for at least 22 hours a day in order to be effectively straightening teeth.

Most people have been discouraged from straightening their teeth as braces might not be the most ideal method and invisible braces prescribed at orthodontic clinics are extremely costly and not easily accessible to most people. Today, direct-to-consumer brands are making it easier for everyone to straighten their teeth with customized invisible braces at affordable prices with almost no clinic visits.

How do I know what’s right for me?

The two options explained above work well for the cases they are intended to treat but for some, the direct-to-consumer invisible braces treatment is every bit as effective as any treatment that are prescribed in the orthodontists’ clinic. 5 Questions Answered About Invisible Braces

While invisible braces or clear aligners have been growing in popularity and many customers are considering it for treating their teeth misalignment, there have been many questions and concerns floating around on how effective they are compared to metal braces. So let’s cover the top 5 commonly asked questions about invisible braces.

What exactly are invisible braces and how do they work?

Invisible braces are plastic trays that are custom-made to be fitted to your teeth after an orthodontist either takes a mould of your teeth or conducts a 3D scan of your mouth. Each pair of invisible braces put pressure on your teeth, gradually moving them into their desired position. Invisible braces are removable when eating, drinking or brushing teeth but they will need to be worn for at least 22 hours a day in order to be effectively straightening teeth.

How long have invisible braces been around for?

While direct-to-consumer invisible braces brands are very recent, the technology behind them is not. In 1945, the first plastic tooth positioning device was developed by Dr. Harold Kesling. In the past, invisible braces technology was possible, but wasn’t a feasible idea as  orthodontists had to create them manually by taking new impressions with every patient visit to the clinic. It wasn’t until Align Technology, Inc. created a software program to create the entire invisible braces treatment digitally in 1998 which became the foundation for all invisible braces as we know it today came into being.

Are invisible braces really effective?

Invisible braces are effective depending on the case it is treating. Unlike metal braces, invisible braces cannot treat severe teeth overcrowding as they are designed to treat mild to moderate cases. But it is also dependent on the patient’s own discipline on wearing the invisible braces properly as instructed. Patients who wear it for less than the recommended time of 22 hours a day or is forgetful to change the invisible braces pair out for a new pair may affect the treatment progress and not have results as desired or planned. In addition, like metal braces, patients will have to wear retainers after treatment to keep their new smile aligned.

What are invisible braces made of?

Different manufacturers have different materials for their invisible braces. Commonly, they are made from plastic polymers that are moldable at high temperatures (thermoplastic) such as polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified (PET-G), polypropylene, polycarbonate (PC), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), and ethylene vinyl acetate, among others. It is important to note that you should choose invisible braces that are free from harmful BPA, phthalates, and parabens.

How much do invisible braces cost?

It can vary depending on the brand you choose. The general rule of thumb is, more time means more money. If the correction is more complicated, it may cost more money. In Invisalign’s case, the cost depends on the condition of your teeth and the complexity of your orthodontic case. It may sometimes be affordable if only minor corrections are needed but can be extremely costly for more severe cases. The good news is, become invisible braces cost the same no matter how long your treatment duration is. Check out our pricing here: become.sg
